Bio - 🇬🇧

Alba Rodrigo de la Torre, better known in the artistic world as Nahlax, was born in Madrid in 1987.

From a very young age, art ran through her veins, so much that she began singing before she could talk.

Maybe this art comes from her great-grandfather, a very talented Spanish guitar player, to whom a very young and unknown Paco de Lucía said in Malaga "if only I had your hands". Or maybe because she was raised in a family settled in Moratalaz, a neighborhood in Madrid, where she had the chance to enjoy the music by a young and anonymous neighbor: Alejandro Sanz.

Always with the unconditional support and teachings of her brother Lorenzo Rodrigo ("LONCHX"). Together, they perfected their vocal techniques, scrutinizing the ins and outs of the greatest voices of the moment: Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mónica Naranjo, Greta (Greta y los Garbo)... and recently Ariana Grande...

Today, Nahlax is passionate about Soul, R&B, International POP...

Musical and vocal experts agree that, on her voice, there are nuances of Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera... artists that she deeply admires.

She's also a composer of all its lyrics and some of its melodies.

Among her achievements we can highlight the recording of her album with Monica Naranjo's sound engineer (Jordi Buch), performing in front of Adolfo Domínguez, Sonsoles Ónega, Inma Chacón... or having participated in the radio programs of Mariano-Mariano (“Mentes Peligrosas” of “Radio Internacional”), Paloma Garaboa (“Onda Cero Radio”), Octavio Villazala (RTVG)... or collaborating on social issues with the City Council of Alcalá de Henares.

In 2021, Nahlax collaborated with internationally acclaimed Spanish "Rush Blacka".

Nahlax bets on a current and evolving sound, experimenting with the fusion of her Soul roots, with more current sounds such as R&B, Hip-Hop, Trap, Electronic Music...

Giving a boost to "Black Music" and R&B in the Spanish-speaking market is one of her objectives.

"Nahlax is the voice that roars when society forces you to be something you are not and you decide to take control of your life"

All that, and much more is...
